The top two teams in the WHL are set to meet in the second round of the playoffs in a series with several exciting storylines. After battling in a seven-game first round series last March, the Swift Current Broncos and Moose Jaw Warriors spent this entire season battling for the top spot in the WHL standings. The Broncos won the playoff series last season, while the Warriors ended up winning the top spot in the league standings this season. The two rivals have a lot in common going into another battle this spring. They're both among the smaller markets in the league, they're both community owned teams, they're both having one of their best ever seasons on and off the ice, and they both spent significant assets to upgrade this season's roster with an eye towards championship success. Only one team can survive to continue their path towards a WHL Championship and a spot in the Memorial Cup this May in Regina.

We gathered together voice of the Broncos Shawn Mullin, Broncos colour commentator Andrew McCormack, Broncos team photographer David Zammit and a voice from "the other side" in Kelly Remple to discuss the series in a podcast style preview. Remple grew up a Moose Jaw Warriors fan and has worked for both the Warriors and Regina Pats. He has also covered the league both on radio and television in many different forms.

The series begins Friday and Saturday in Moose Jaw before returning to Swift Currenet next Tuesday and Wednesday. You can listen to all the games live on The Eagle 94.1 FM with Robertson Family Group Broncos Hockey at 6:30pm.
