Prairie Farmers are starting to get involved in selling Carbon Credits. The idea is that farmers are reimbursed for the carbon they sequester in the soil through minimum till practices, by companies with large emissions.

Gary Wagner of Lancer was one of the first farmers to be involved in the process, he says there's really nothing extra involved in the selling of the credits.

Wagner got about 98 cents an acre on the first sale, adding it was about three months from when he signed up to when he received his first check.
