Folks travelling down the Trans-Canada Highway will want to take caution, as there are reports of delays.

The delays are reportedly being caused by a collision bringing traffic to a standstill.

Eric Ingham was travelling down the #1 Highway when he came to what appeared to be a miles-long stoppage.

"I think I'm about five miles west of Tompkins," estimated Ingham. "The traffic is completely stopped and there's probably I'm guessing three or four miles of vehicles that are sitting here on the road."

The traffic lengthA shot of the traffic wrapping around the bend.

After calling in, Ingham was able to confirm that the highway was opening back up, and traffic was resuming its course.

There have been no official reports of injuries or any other factors at this time.
