A tough final 63 seconds in the third quarter ended up costing the Swift Current Comp. Colts Football team a chance at beating the visiting Yorkton Regional Raiders Gridders on Saturday.

The Raider Gridders scored two touchdowns in that time frame, seconds after the Colts cut the deficit to two, en route to a 30-14 victory at Colts Field.

Owen Sletten put Swift Current on the board late in the first quarter with a seven-yard reception for a touchdown.

Ethan Priest had the other Colts touchdown with 1:36 remaining in the third quarter on a 29-yard reception from quarterback Elijah Siemens.

The Colts now sit 0-3 on the season in the SHSAA 5A Rural Football League and will head to Estevan on Friday to face the 0-3 Elecs.
