It's been a busy couple of weeks for firefighters in the southwest.

Shaunavon fire crews were called out again yesterday evening at around 6:00pm.

Fire Chief Dean McNabb reports that they were called out to a stubble fire 12 miles north of the town on Highway 37, and 2 miles east.  The cause of the fire is believed to be a spark from a vehicle.

The blaze was out quickly, with no injuries, and only some stubble lost.
