Crews from the City of Swift Current Parks Department are making the rounds in downtown Swift Current.

This morning, a pair of trucks could be seen on First Avenue Northeast being loaded up with tree branches. These branches had been dangling over street-side parking, posing a threat to any automobile stopped beneath them.

This is the truck that they use to get up to the branches, The other truck is for hauling them away. This is the truck that they use to get up to the branches, The other truck is for hauling them away.

While they have since finished up at this location, folks will want to keep an eye out in case any other loose tree debris gets put on the chopping block.

City crews will put up signage, marking their work. Morotirst will want to drive by with caution or take another route entirely if they wish to avoid any possibility of falling branches.

If anyone knows of damaged branches that need to be trimmed, they can submit photos and location details over on the City of Swift Current website.
