It's a strong start to 2010 for Crown Oil and Gas rights in Saskatchewan.
The February sale brought in $39.5 million in revenue for the province, which was strengthened by the competitive Bakken Oil Play in the southeast. That area alone netted $25.9 million in sales.
The Lloydminster area came in next at $5.7 million, followed by the Swift Current area at $4 million.
The total sales are the second most for a February sale in Saskatchewan.
