Christophe Rey was charged yesterday in Swift Current Provincial Court facing fines over $2000 involved with dangerous driving.
When caught on this occurance, Rey's license was already suspended and he lied about his identity to police. This led to an additional fine for $500 for obstruction of justice.
On March 24, Rey was clocked doing 204 km/h down the Trans-Canada Highway. The Crown added that Rey has a problem with speeding and has not learned from his previous actions.
A previous occurance in January police had clocked Rey at 154 km/h.
Rey has a suspension of his license and is not allowed to operate a motor vehicle.
