Classrooms across Saskatchewan will be empty again today
Saskatchewan teachers will be on strike for a second day today, closing schools and cancelling classes throughout the province.
This comes during an impass between the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation and the Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee, who remain far apart on wages.
Education Minister Donna Harpauer says it's vital that the two sides get back to the bargaining table, with final exams appoaching:
Harpauer says their offer is worth well over $100 million, and they are looking at even more resources should the teachers return to the table.
