The provincial government continues to hand out the money.

In addition to $133 million for healthcare in Saskatchewan, Education Minister Donna Harpauer annonced yesterday $60 million for 120 school renovation and improvement projects in 65 communities across the province.

Several projects in the Chinook School Division will benefit from the funding including money for a preliminary planning study for the new joint use school in Swift Current and roof replacements for Sydney Street School in Maple Creek, Ashley Park and the Comp High School in Swift Current, as well as Consul and Hazlet Schools.

Since 2007, the provincial government has committed over $400 million to school infrastructure in Saskatchewan.
