The Shaunavon Food Bank is a saving grace for many people in Shaunavon and area during difficult times.

And with COVID 19 hitting everyone hard, the Food Bank says they are well stocked to help out those in need.

Larry Hughes is the President of The Shaunavon Food Bank. He said cash and food donations have increased significantly recently, and said they are expecting a busier time ahead for people needing food hampers. "There has been a gradual increase in the last month. So far, there hasn't been a dramatic jump for requests for hampers, but we're kind of expecting there will be . It's best if they do phone ahead."

The Shaunavon Food Bank is open Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. in the Shaunavon Anglican Church and Hughes says they are always in need of canned goods and cereal.

Cash donations are always welcome as well.
