After three years in the Arizona Coyotes organization, Swift Current Broncos alumnus Tyler Steenbergen is on his way to Tinseltown.

The 23-year-old Sylvan Lake, Alberta native was part of a draft-day prospect swap between the Coyotes and the Los Angeles Kings.

In 156 regular-season games for the Tucson Roadrunners at the AHL level, the sniper has netted 27 goals and added 34 helpers.

Steenbergen's three-year entry-level contract just expired at season's end and the Kings now own his signing rights.

While in Swift Current, the 5-foot-10 forward scored 123 goals and registered 126 assists for 249 points in 267 regular-season games.

He scored the golden goal for Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championships and later that year helped the Broncos win the Ed Chynoweth Cup.
