Swift Current Broncos goaltender Reid Dyck was named the Western Hockey League's Goalie of the Week on Monday after backstopping the Broncos to a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The Boston Bruins prospect earned both wins, including a 33-save shutout in game one on Friday, posting a 1.50 goals-against average and a .954 save percentage, stopping 62 of 65 shots he faced over the two games.

Dyck finished the regular season with a 25-7-2-0 record, a 2.70 GAA and .911 save percentage. He won WHL Goalie of the Week honours on February 5 and 26 and was also named the league's Goaltender of the Month for February.

The Broncos look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series when they travel to Lethbridge tonight. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m. with Redhead Equipment Case IH Broncos Hockey starting at 6:45 on Country 94.1 FM.
