Faye Louise Gould (Rude) of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away with family at her side on Saturday, May 7 at Cypress Regional Hospital after a short illness.  In accordance with her wishes, no service is to be held.  She is survived by her husband Larry; sons Trevor (Toko) and Kevin (Jennifer); granddaughters Yuna, Emily, Devon and Hayley, sisters Donna Klassen (Bruce) and Florence Funk (Wayne); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their children.  Predeceased by her parents Harold and Rose (Reimer) Rude.  Faye was born January 22, 1946 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  She was raised on the family farm in the Waldeck area with her sisters, enjoying raising animals and doing chores.  Later she moved to Swift Current to room with Dot Letkeman, cousin Myrna Tangen, and Tillie Reimer, and worked a job at the Esso restaurant on North Central.  She met her future husband Larry Gould through friends, they were married November 25, 1967 and settled in a house on 8th NW in Swift Current.  In June of 1968 they welcomed their first son Kevin, followed by their second, Trevor, in November of 1970.  Faye worked in the typing pool at the Swift Current Research station for several years, before taking a job with SGI insurance.  The family moved to a farm near Cantuar in 1976 and participated in the active social community in the area, attending many festive events at the Cantuar hall.  Faye enjoyed maintaining the flowers and plants in her beautiful yard on the farm and later in town, as well as spending time with Larry, relaxing in peace at various campgrounds they frequented in their travel trailer.  When both of her sons settled in Vancouver, they visited several times to enjoy time with their new granddaughters and become loved by her stepdaughters, making many fond memories.  Despite the distance, she was able to visit regularly with her sons and grandchildren through video chat.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke foundation or charity of your choice.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.
