The Riverhurst Volunteer Fire Department responded to a field fire on Monday.
Crews were dispatched at 5:36 p.m. to a field near Gilroy. Two units were deployed and received assistance from two diskers and multiple water trucks.
The fire was handled quickly, in part thanks to locals' help, with all units back in service by 6:41 p.m.
The cause of the fire has not been shared at this time.
