When Liam Choo Foo and his family moved to Swift Current in 2002, it was a tremendous gain for our city. Liam, who plans to retire later this year, spent many years as the Director of Education for the Chinook School Division and was heavily involved and active in the community as chair of the board for the Broncos, as well as a coach and volunteer with other minor sports programs and athletics just to name a few.

Liam says giving back to the community is something he believes in very strongly, "It's a big part of my whole belief system. That's how I think you get to meet people and usually you get more than what you give so it's been a real rewarding component of every community we've been in."

Thank you for all you've done for education in Swift Current and area Liam, for giving back to the community, and all the best in your retirement. For being this weeks eagle applause recipient, Liam gets a gift card from Schultz's Ranch Country Meats in Morse.
