Allen Cup

The Allan Cup

Former Bronco Brent Twordik had himself a game yesterday as The Rosetown Red Wings advanced to the Playoff round at the Allan cup with a 4-3 Overtime win over the Grand-Falls Windsor Cataracs.

Twordik assisted on the Red wings first goal, scored the equalizer in the 3rd, and had a helper on the overtime winner.

The win means Rosetown finishes 2nd in division one and will play the Kenora Thistles in quarter-final action this afternoon at 4.

Rosetown is attempting to be only the fourth team in Sasktchewan history to win Canada's premier senior hockey championship that dates back to 1909.
