The Frenchman Valley Gospel Music Jamboree happens this weekend at the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Center in Shaunavon.

It's a weekend of music and fun, all indoors, with local talent such as The Hunter Brothers and Catherine Lewans, as well as The Over 55 Choir and Conrad Sandberg and His Prairie Pals.

Other talent includes MC Carey Dyer, The Sundrops, The Amundruds, and Funk and Company please many more. Unfortunately Ben Crane will not be attending.

Headliners this year include High Valley and Diamond Rio.

JJ Hunter from the Organizing Committee says, “If people could just check out the line up and see that there's great music. We've got country music, we've got gospel music, we've got soloists, we've got bands. We've got Phil Callaway speaking Sunday morning. I think there'll be a lot for everybody to take in.”

Opening ceremonies go tonight at six thirty, followed by Catherine Lewans and Bill Gates.

High Valley takes the stage tonight at eight thirty.

Saturday it's The Hunter Brothers at eight twenty and on Sunday afternoon at three you can enjoy Diamond Rio.

There's a free pancake breakfast Saturday morning, free parking and dry-lot camping available.

Tickets are available at The Snack Shack in Shaunavon and at Pharmasave in Swift Current.
