I

(these are a few of the dishes and food I've made in the past)

The Swift Current Ag & Ex announced plans for Frontier Days 2021 this week. Covid19 is certainly still impacting what they are able to do and events they can have.

It's great to see that there will be a mix of live and virtual events this year as we continue to work our way back to a full Frontier Days schedule and party for next year.  A couple things I'm extra excited about are the fireworks returning on July 1 as we celebrate the greatest country in the world's birthday! Also something called the Frontier Feast which, as I am to understand it, is asking local foodies and chefs to whip up some culinary creations and then submit photos for a chance to win prizes.

I consider myself a foodie and love to cook. It's always been a hobby of mine, mainly because I love to eat. One of my favourite ways to cook is grilling in the hot summer months so I'm thinking I'll have to get busy and whip up some delectable dishes for the Frontier Feast this year. A few of my food pics are included.

So if you fancy yourself a bit of a chef or love to cook I encourage you to enter your delicious dishes in the Frontier Feast too.
