The City of Swift Current is dealing with delays in residential garbage collection.
In a release, the city says its contractor is committed to trying to ensure the delays are dealt with as quickly as possible.
To make this process as efficient as possible, residents are asked to have their garbage out by 7am on collection day and make it as visable as possible for the garbage collectors
On another note, due to mechanical issues, the recycling depot will not be able to accept some products as recycle bins are at capacity.
The City is apologizing for any inconveniences and difficulties this situation may cause and asking residents to be patient until they can address the matter.
