(Rhonda, left, nominated Rachel for the eagle applause)

Three weeks ago the entire province, country, and world were devastated by the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. Numerous fundraisers were organized and held to support the families, team, and community in the face of this unimaginable tragedy. . A go fund me page raised millions of dollars as well.

Locally, a sticker campaign was organized by some businesses to raise money for Humboldt and Rachel Harrington stepped up creating a Facebook group and encouraging people to purchase stickers or make a donation. She also offered to distribute stickers with notes on them on behalf of people to support the campaign, a true example of how we open our hearts and are always willing to help each other in times of need.  Rachel has also been a volunteer and helping out with the Swift Current Stock Car Association for the past three years.

For stepping up and helping out Rachel Harrington gets this weeks eagle applause and a gift card from Schultz's Ranch Country Meats in Morse. Rachel was nominated by Rhonda Corrigan, who also gets a gift card from Schultz's for submitting the nomination. Thank you ladies!

Congratulations and thank you Rachel, and thanks also to Rhonda for the very deserving nomination.
