The Federal government is funding improvement projects at two more arenas in the southwest.

Gull Lake and Leader will benefit from Ottawa's Recreational Infrastructure Canada program, with both communities receiving more than $30,000 to improve their arenas.

Gull Lake will use almost $24,000 to buy a new condenser for their rink, while Leader will use the rest for insulation, siding, and trim at their arena.

The RInC Program has also benefitted other southwest recreational facilities, including Swift Current's Fairview Arenas, and Shauanvon's new Wickenheiser Centre.
