The Gull Lake Bowling Lanes have undergone substantial renovations this past summer and is open to the public.

The bowling lanes have been apart of the Rec-Plex since it first opened around 25 years ago, and Chair of the Bowling Association, Craig Baird, says it's all ready for action.

"In the past few years we have seen a decline. We just renovated the entire bowling alley this past summer, and really the cost of the bowling alley is quite low compared to the rest of the Rec-Plex," says Baird. "We repainted the entire bowling alley, we fixed up a bunch of baseboards and things like that, and we also completely renovated the bathrooms, so there's all new bathroom fixtures in there, all new flooring, just to really spice it up and make it look a lot better. It was starting to show it's age for sure."

Public bowling is open every Wednesday from 7-9pm for $2 a person per game, and is also available for party rentals.
