cupcakes

Today is National Cupcake Day. Many businesses and organizations are taking part in support of the Swift Current SPCA.

The Eagle and swiftcurrentonline is also helping out. All our awesome staff have brought cupcakes to work today (pictured) and everyone is welcome to stop by our studios at 134 Central Avenue North, make a donation and have a cupcake or two and we'll donate all the proceeds to our local SPCA and the wonderful work they do.

We also started Ten Ends On Us this morning with our first word of the day. It was "Broom" so mark it on end one of your curling score card and listen for the word of the day everyday from now until March 11 then get your completed score card to us by dropping it off at our offices, emailing it to eaglecontrol@goldenwestradio.com or posting it on our social media (facebook or twitter) and you could win passes to the upcoming Ford World Women's Curling Championship March 19-27 at the iplex.

There was no winner in the Bronco Innovation Credit Union iseat this morning. The jackpot now grows to $160 Wednesday morning for Tuesday night's game vs. Red Deer so hang on to your ticket stubs from that game and you could pocket some cash Wednesday morning.
