A snowfall warning continues for Shaunavon, Maple Creek, Gull Lake, Leader, Val Marie, and the Cypress Hills.

Environment Canada says areas near the Alberta/Saskatchewan boundary can see between 25 and 50 centimetres of snow through tomorrow.  Other areas are likely to get periods of light snow.

Currently, travel is not recommended on any highway in the Maple Creek and Cypress Hills areas, with other roads subject to icy or slippery sections due to freezing rain last night.

The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure will be providing updates on road conditions as they come in on the Highway Hotline.  It can be accessed by telephone at (888) 335-7623, or by clicking the road report link on the Swift Current Online Homepage.
