Highway 21 through Maple Creek from the Trans-Canada Highway to Highway 21 is now listed as 'travel not recommended'.

Multiple reports surfacing of vehicles hitting the ditch off the Trans-Canada Highway east of Swift Current. Traffic is crawling along, but it is again noted that the highway is listed as closed all the way from Swift Current now to Moose Jaw. Please do not travel along the Trans-Canada Highway east from Swift Current if you are able to delay the trip.

 

(2:15 p.m.) Update 4:

Snow continues to pile up across Swift Current and the southwest, leading to more closures.

The Riverhurst Ferry is currently closed, severing Highway 42's Lake Diefenbaker crossing.

Highway 37 north of Gull Lake is now labelled 'travel not recommended'.

Highway 332 along it's full stretch is now 'travel not recommended'.

Highway 32 from the Trans-Canada Highway to Cabri is now listed as 'travel not recommended'.

Highway Four north of Swift Current to Saskatchewan Landing presenting as 'travel not recommended'.

 

(1:35 p.m.)Update 3:

The Trans-Canada Highway East of Swift Current is now closed from Rush Lake to Moose Jaw due to severe weather conditions.

Highway 18 is now listed as 'travel not recommended' all the way from Highway Four to Highway 358.

 

(1:05 p.m.)Update 2: 

As the day continues, more and more roadways are being flagged for their snowy conditions.

Highway 363 is now closed from Courval to Moose Jaw, while the remainder is still sighted as 'travel not recommended' all the way to Highway Four.

Highway Four headed south of Swift Current all the way to the American border is listed as 'travel not recommended'.

'Travel not recommended' on highway 18 from Orkney to Coriander.

Highway 13 'travel not recommended' from Admiral to Kincaid.

The entirety of both Highway 343 and Highway 379 are labelled as 'travel not recommended'.

Highway 43 is now 'travel not recommended' all the way from Highway Four to Highway Two.

Highway 37 from Gull Lake to Shaunavon is listed as 'travel not recommended'.

 

(12:25 p.m.)Update 1:

A few more highways have entered the 'travel not recommended' category, along with some roads being closed entirely. 

Highway 363 southwest of Swift Current is listed as 'travel not recommended' from Neidpath to Old Wives. It is listed as closed from Old Wives to Mosse Jaw.

South of the Trans-Canada Highway, highways 19 and 58 are listed as 'travel not recommended all the way to Highway 13, which also has 'travel not recommended' from Ponteix to Woodrow.

Highway 43 also is labelled as 'travel not recommended' from Vanguard all the way to highway two. 

Travel to Mosse Jaw at this time may not be possible under current road conditions, as all highways into Mosse Jaw are listed as closed.

The snow continues to reintroduce itself across the southwest prairies.

As it continues, more and more roadways are being flagged for poor conditions. 

The Trans-Canada Highway east of Swift Current is now flagged as 'travel not reccomended' all the way from the Highway 19 junction and passed Mosse Jaw.

Highway 13 southwest of Shaunavon is a not recommended, with the snowfall warning in full affect causing poor road conditions and poor visibility.
