CJSN Radio's Annual Hot Dog Day happened this past Friday June 19th and we were thrilled to see a large number of area residents out to enjoy a free hot dog and a pop with us.
We hold our Hot Dog Day to celebrate the beginning of summer and to honour our loyal listeners. We also collected donations for the Shaunavon Fire Department and this year's proceeds raised will go towards an A.D. To carry on the fire truck.
Shaunavon Fire Chief Dean McNabb says, “We had the Car Club here in the Spring presented us with a bit of money towards the A.D. And this will allow us to pay for the rest of it and make sure we can get it on the unit.”
The grand total raised and donated to the Shaunavon Fire Department was $2,328.85.
