The Shaunavon Fire Department reporting a weekend fire in that community.
At about ten p.m. on Saturday evening, the Fire Department was called to a structure fire at a home located on fourth avenue west.
Shaunavon Fire Chief, Dean McNabb, says a neighbor saw smoke and flames and reported the blaze.
No one was at the resident at the time and no injuries were reported.
McNabb says the home received heavy smoke and heat damage on both levels and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The Fire Department reminding everyone to please make certain you have a working smoke detector in your home.
