The Village of Frontier has installed a new accessible bathroom at their local campground.

Barb Webber is the Town Administrator. She says the new facilities have been a long time coming.

"Yes, for a long time we have been looking for a campground update, and so there was a grant out there and we got it and utilized it, and we have a fabulous washroom right now."

The community received a grant of $18,000 from the Canada Community Revitalization Fund that assists non-profit organizations, municipalities, community groups, and Indigenous communities to build and improve community infrastructure projects.

The total cost of the project is $25,000 with the remaining portion funded by the Village of Frontier.

The project will expand the usage and accessibility of the campground and park and make it more attractive for campers.
