Swift Current's community Christmas tree will be lit tonight

 

The Christmas season will officially be launched in Swift Current tonight (Thursday) with the annual tree lighting at the Market Square.  I had Gary from the Swift Current Down Town Business Association on the Thursday morning show to tell us about the festivities:

 

 

Shaunavon will also kick off their Christmas season tonight with the annual parade of lights.  It begins at 6:30 from the Catholic church parking lot and the Country Music Radio community cruiser will be there for it.  Everyone's invited to come out and get into the Christmas spirit tonight in Swift Current and Shaunavon.
