One southwest construction company and its two corporate directors were charged for violating the Saskatchewan Employment Act last summer.

Earlier this month Langman Contracting Incorporated pleaded guilty in Assiniboia Provincial Court for failing to pay wages within 14 days of the end of employment.

As a result, the company was fined $1,000 plus a victim surcharge of $400, and all employee wages have been collected.

The charges against both corporate directors were withdrawn.
