The latest Charitable Gaming Grants have provided 1.3 million dollars for some southwest communities.

These communities have groups and organizations that conduct charitable gaming fundraisers to make a difference in their communities.

Around the southwest, there are a number of communities receiving funding, including Maple Creek that received grant money of just over $5,000 for their Arena Board and Curling Club,  Leader that received $1,157 for their Skating Club and Arts Council, Eastend that received just over $800 between AlleyKatz Early Learning Center, The Eastend Activity Center and the Eastend Kinsmen Club, and Gull Lake that received just over $800 for their Athletic Association and their Curling Club.

These grants equal 25% of net proceeds raised through licensed charitable gaming and is paid quarterly to groups and organizations that conduct these events.

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority calculates grant payment when groups and organizations submit their charitable gaming reports.
