Four-point games for Parker Rondeau, Sam Kirwan and Jace Egland helped the Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires to a 4-2 win over the Yorkton Maulers to sweep a weekend homestand at Innovationplex on Sunday.

Egland and Kirwan gave the Legionnaires a 2-0 lead in the first period before Boston Melnyk put the Maulers on the board late in the opening frame. Rondeau made it 3-1 for the Legionnaires midway through the second and Swift Current's Brady Simpson cut Yorkton's deficit to 3-2 with his first U18 AAA goal midway through the third before Egland sealed the victory with an empty-netter.

Rondeau and Kirwan added three assists while Egland pitched in with a couple of helpers. Jacob Morris made 27 saves as Yorkton outshot Swift Current 29-27.

The Legionnaires (15-5-2) are off until next Tuesday when they travel to Regina to face the Pat-Canadians.
