The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires dropped a 5-2 decision to the Moose Jaw WINMAR Warriors at InnovationPlex on Thursday night and lost consecutive games for the first time since the start of the regular season.

Moose Jaw started on time with Grady Hoffman scoring 30 seconds into the game, but Rylan Williams responded with an unassisted goal midway through the first period to tie the game back up. The Warriors picked up another early-period goal by Wyatt Lacoste in the second before Theo McGuire tied it back up midway through the frame. Hoffman then scored his second of the game 22 seconds into the third period and Liam Fitzpatrick added two more goals to put the game away for Moose Jaw.

Parker Rondeau and Eric Hoiness assisted on McGuire's goal and Berney Weston made 25 saves as Swift Current outshot the Warriors 32-29.

The Legionnaires (17-5-0-1) head to Saskatoon for a pair of games this weekend against the Contacts before they wrap up their pre-Christmas schedule at home against the Tisdale Trojans on December 17 and 18.
