The Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires made the trip to Gull Lake to take on Tisdale, where the Trojans won 7-4 to salvage a split of the two-game set.

Taren Erhardt opened the scoring for the Trojans 4:45 into the first period before Wesley Olson and Mason Osinski made it 2-1 for Swift Current by the midway point of the period. Lukas Borne scored to tie the game up with 6:56 left in the opening frame, and the Trojans took a 4-2 lead midway through the second on goals by Erhardt and Carter Geysen. Jackson Fox cut the Legionnaires' deficit to 4-3 before Dayton Reschny restored Tisdale's two-goal lead with 4:39 left in the second. Jaxon Kehrig and Lukas Borne made it 7-3 for the Trojans in the third before Olson picked up his second of the game to wrap up the scoring.

Connor Rieger added two assists for the Legionnaires and Berney Weston made 32 saves as Swift Current outshot Tisdale 44-32.

The Legionnaires (19-6-3) head to Warman to face the Wildcats this weekend before hosting Moose Jaw and Notre Dame next week.
