The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is inviting you to share in the true meaning of Christmas.

A live outdoor nativity pageant is being presented tonight through Saturday, with a full cast and live animals.

"We have live animals that the kids are allowed to come out and pet and interact with, and a full live cast," said organizer Genevieve Steed, "we really appreciate all the effort and all the community members that participated in it, and we hope it's recieved well." Steed added this is like a Christmas gift to the community of Swift Current.

"What we're trying to do is organize a community service Christmas gift, to allow them to enjoy and feel the true spirit of Christmas, and remember Christ."

There will be four 15-minute long presentations of the nativity every night at 6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm, and 7:30pm in the parking lot of the church at 320 Chaplin Street West.
