A Swift Current local has been making the go around and the ups and downs in the national Motocross scene.

Cole Conn, a professional rider in the Canadian Motocross Circuit, was most recently racing in Alberta, taking big leaps and fast laps in order to finish in the top 20.

"We just had our first national round here in Edmonton last weekend," clarrified Conn. "One went really well where I ended up finishing 22nd overall with one of my motors. I've broken the top 20 with the 19th place finish, so that was the highlight so far."

After managing to finish strong in Edmonton, he is heading now to British Columbia to make another strong impact, hoping for another top-20 finish in Kamloops.

"If I could get back in the top 20 and earn some pro points that would be a really big highlight," said the aspiring rider. "I would say that with the 19th place finish last weekend that top 20 would be really good."

Conn will be making a Saskatchewan appearance in July when he will look to defend some southern Saskatchewan turf in Regina. Until then, he will be continuing on the provincial circuit, looking for big air and big finishes.
