A local man is raising money so he can rapel down a building like a superhero, while also helping out a camp.

Devon Oman is raising money for SaskAbilities Camp Easter Seal, and if he can hit the goal of $1,500, he will be rappelling down a 22-story building dressed up as a superhero.

Oman and the Buffalo Brew Pub held the fundraiser that raised over $600.

"It's outstanding. I'm getting really close to my goal," he said. "I have like $413 left to go."

He said he chose SaskAbilities and Camp Easter Seal because of how they help people out.

"I used to work for SaskAbilities and they always have had that special place in my heart and they were great to me and I want to give back to them," Oman said. "Some of the feedback from everybody that goes to the camp, they just absolutely love it. It's a great opportunity for everybody."

Oman added that he is excited to be able to not only help out Camp Easter Seal but also to rappel down the building.
