A good crowd was on hand.

Chicago’s Maurice John Vaughn Band kicked things off with set after set of funky blues. Great sounds coming of this group – intense, passionate vocals backed by solid drums, keyboard, guitar and even trombone.

The crowd kept extra warm by the umbrella propane heaters along the length of the spacious tent.

And tonight, the blues continues with Billy Joe Green Band.

Straight out of Winnipeg, Billy Joe has been on the scene for over three decades. Their latest album "Muskrat Blues and Rock and Roll" is up for a Juno this year.

This is a show you don’t want to miss and remember, it will go rain or shine under the comfortably heated big top tent, west of Battleford Trail.

Tent flaps open at 7:00 with the music beginning at 9:00.
