RCMP have shared details about a police presence at a local business on Sunday afternoon that saw an individual who had a warrant out for their arrest apprehended.

Swift Current Municipal RCMP say that around 1:10 p.m., they received a report of an adult male with a warrant at a business on the 1100 block of Central Avenue North.

Officers located and arrested Marcel Stewart Breton, who was wanted after failing to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on February 11 to address counterfeit currency-related charges that were laid earlier this year.
