The man hunt will resume today in northern Saskatchewan following the shooting of two Mounties near the small town of Muriel on Friday night.

RCMP were pursuing a man, following a domestic dispute call, when he stopped his vehicle and began shooting at the officers.

Two of the officers were hit and sent to hospital with life threatening injuries.

RCMP spokeswoman, Heather Russel, says the man they are looking for is 41-year-old, Curtis Alfred Dagenais, of the Mildred area.

He is described as a Caucasian , 5'11" , 158 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. He is also described as armed and dangerous.

Russel adds police think Deganais is still in the area, on foot somewhere west of Prince Albert.
