It’s just a matter of a few short weeks before the doors open at the new downtown Southwest Credit Union branch.
Cost of construction came in at just under $11 million, and 70% of the construction was done by local contractors.
The opening of the new Credit Union will also see the revival of a bit of Swift Current’s City Hall history.
They have incorporated a lot of the old city bricks into columns and the entrance ways, as well as incorporating them into a water feature that has been donated by the architect for all to enjoy.
