Garden of Eden Greenhouse & Gifts is getting ready to host vendors, entertainers, and everyone looking for some fun this weekend.

Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. will mark the start of Garden of Eden's Fall Market.

Customers, fun seekers, and deal takers are all welcome out to the event, which will feature over 40 vendors, face painting, axe throwing, lunch, a petting zoo, and of course plenty of greenhouse greenery to pick and choose from.

Elli Friesen, marketing and customer service manager for Garden of Eden Greenhouse & Gifts, is looking forward to all the folks that will be coming out for the event.

"I'm just super excited that we've got so many activities going on," beamed Friesen. "There's something to do for everyone. It's a day for the whole family."

Garden of Eden will have 10 helpers on hand to keep the day operating smoothly, and they hope that everyone is able to find a vendor or activity that suits their fancy, and maybe even a few plants to take home with them.

The details for anyone attending the day are pretty straightforward, as Friesen clarifies.

"It's free admission, but lunch is $10 and if they want to pre-purchase those tickets to guarantee their plate, they can do that on our website or they can contact us," said Friesen. "We also ask that people keep in mind that not all vendors take cards so they should bring cash."

Also at this event will be the Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre, which will be selling tickets at five dollars a piece for 50/50 For Change. Garden of Eden is sponsoring the campaign and is happy to be a part of the fundraising campaign.

Friesen is confident that no matter the reason for attending, folks will have a blast.

"We just hope that we see the whole community come out," said Friesen. "We love seeing the community come together and that's the main reason as to why we do our markets."
