It's Planes, Trains and Automobiles day at Swift Current's Market Square.
The city is asking you to come out in your super hero, anime, comic book or science fiction characters with a chance to win up to $150 for both adults and children.
"The Midnight Roses will play, they won The Next Big Thing, a competition in 2012, and they won $15,000 for their musical efforts, so we're very excited they're coming out to play the market." City CAO Susan Motkaluk said very excited about the planned entertainment.
The Saskatchewan Science Centre will be bringing exhibits and a stage show to the market. That's in addition to the usual vendors and farmer's market that are offering their goods from 10:00 to 3:00 in downtown Swift Current today.
