Local bands will be fighting it out at the Battle of the Bands tonight.

The Lyric Theatre is hosting the annual Battle of the Bands tonight at 7:00.

Bands will play for a live audience in front of a panel of judges with plenty of prizes at stake.

Organizer, Jeff Smuck, says the Southwest Credit Union has put up a $250 cash prize for the best band.

Admission to the public is $2.00.
