Students are always looking to spend time outside, but the outside came to them instead.

A moose crashed through a window at Sylvia Fedoruk School in Evergreen on Thursday, November 4.

A note issued to parents stated, “A moose broke through the glass of the community room at the before-school program. The moose is injured and down in the room.”

No students were hurt, but some children were left speechless at the situation.

Conservation officers, with help from the Saskatoon police, were able to successfully tranquillize the animal. It was successfully removed from the premises around 10:30 am, with the intent to release it back into the wild.

The moose looking for an education was not the only moose in Saskatoon, a second moose was spotted making its way into city limits.
