Prince Albert product Alex Moar gets to face his hometown team once again, as the Swift Current Broncos welcome the Raiders to the southwest tonight.

The progression of Moar's game since coming over from Everett in the deal for Artyom Minulin has been noticeable, though, as of late, the skilled puck-handling defenceman seems to have found another gear.

The 17-year-old rookie is ninth in team scoring with 15 points, and trails only Connor Horning among defencemen on the team.

Moar also has six of those points over the last seven games, though he says the focus still remains on tightening up his game in his own end.

"I thought I've been doing good the last couple months. I'm more worried about my D-zone (game) rather than my offensive zone right now," he said.

The Broncos and Raiders face off at 7 p.m. from the Innovation Credit Union iPlex. The Robertson Family Group Broncos Hockey broadcast is live on the Eagle 94.1 at 6:30.
