For the first time this season the Swift Current Broncos have strung a pair of wins together inside the WHL's Eastern Division bubble in Regina.

Broncos forward Cole Nagy potted his first career hat-trick tonight including the game-winner in the third period helping Swift Current to a 4-2 win over their rival the Moose Jaw Warriors.

"He looks like a veteran player now," Broncos Assistant Coach Scott Dutertre said. "Before there were some games he'd have off-days but now he's starting to get that consistency of a true Western Hockey League veteran."

Swift Current also received a big performance from goaltender Isaac Poulter who turned aside 36 of the 38 shots he faced en route to picking up his 3rd win of the shortened season.

"For Isaac, it's another day at the office," Dutertre said. "He's our rock, he did a tremendous job again today and helped us get our composure back there and work our way through."

The other Broncos tally came from Raphael Pelletier late in the first period that opened the scoring and came via the powerplay.

"Brandin's been doing a great job working with them, trying to get them different looks and some different options," he said. "It's nice to see there's starting to be some chemistry and it's starting to pay off for us."

Nagy's second goal of the game also came on the man advantage making Swift Current 2-for-4 on the evening while they killed all three penalties they took.

With the win, Swift Current now improves to 6-16-1 on the campaign and faces the 8-10-3 Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday as they close out the 24-game regular season.
