The countdown to Telemiracle 42 is officially underway! The 20-hour telethon takes place March 3 & 4 from Regina's Conexus Arts Centre as the whole province comes together again to ring those phones and help people with special needs in our communities!

The national cast for this year's event was announced this morning, and it will feature a stellar lineup once again. Returning favourites Brad Johner & the Johner Boys, Chris Henderson, Beverly Mahood and Jeffrey & Jill Straker will be back this year, along with Jess Moskaluke, Sask Express, Big Daddy Tazz, and Shaunavon's own Hunter Brothers! Newcomers to Telemiracle include Canadian country/folk singer Don Amero, legendary Canadian rockers The Stampeders, and Saskatchewan Roughriders legend and current CFL on TSN analyst Glen Suitor.

In addition, the show will feature a long list of Saskatchewan talent, which includes Swift Current's Central School Choir and Bucket Drummers! Many of the performers will be showcased in a "Countdown to Telemiracle" that will be streamed on the new-look telemiracle.com before the telethon broadcast begins. Also, all of the performances by the Saskatchewan talent will be uploaded onto Telemiracle's YouTube channel shortly after they perform, and their donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Nutrien up to $150,000!

Colin talked with Susan Colbow, the committee chair for Telemiracle 42, during the Redhead Equipment Magic Morning Show!

Telemiracle 42 begins at 9:00pm on March 3 and continues to 5:00pm on March 4. The show will be broadcast live across Saskatchewan on CTV, but you can see it in person at Conexus Arts Centre absolutely free!
