If you're willing to support a good cause and want to celebrate Halloween early this year, come to the Lyric Theatre tonight.

Swift Current Improvisational Theatre is hosting the Nightmare Before Halloween Bash with music dancing and an improv comedy show.

"The plan is to raise some money for a friend of ours. He does some graphic design work for us - his name is Julien. He has a van that he goes around in that fits his wheelchair that now is pretty much a safety hazard by this point. So, what we're hoping to do is raise a bit of money to help him replace it which can cost anywhere from $60 to $80 thousand," said Stefan Rumpel, founder of SCIT.

For those who haven't been to a SCIT event before, Rumpel says the shows are always entertaining.

"What our improv show is going to entail is some live comedic theatre. We go off the cuff, audience suggestions, audience volunteers -it can be a really, really fun event. The content can go a touch off-side, so it is a nineteen plus event," he said.

Tickets are available at Pharmasave, Trends or the door starting at 7:30 pm.
